Folk artist, Edward Larson, has not forgotten the appeal of the simply stated. His works of art are characterized by bright, primary colors that tap into our child-like sensibility. A resourceful recycling of materials like fruit crates and scrap metals add charm to his unique sculptures.
In 1981, Mr. Larson received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He has been featured in many group shows at such venues as the Museum of American Folk Art, New York, NY; the Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institute, Washington, DC; and the NEA Museum School of Art, Greenville, NC. The artist makes his home in New Mexico.
